Product Specific FAQs

Crave Control Protein Powder

How is this different from regular protein powder?

Regular protein powders only provide protein. Crave Control includes clinical-grade PCOS ingredients like DygloFit® (proven to boost GLP-1 and support weight loss) and therapeutic chromium (570% DV) to target insulin resistance – the root cause of PCOS weight struggles. It’s the only protein powder formulated specifically for women with PCOS.

When should I take it?

Best taken in the morning to maximize GLP-1 benefits and control cravings throughout the day. You can also use it post-workout or as a snack replacement. Mix with 8-12 oz of water, dairy-free milk, or blend into smoothies.

How long until I see results?

Most women notice reduced cravings within the first week. In clinical studies, significant improvements in weight, body fat, and blood glucose were seen at 12 weeks with consistent use. For best results, use daily alongside a PCOS-friendly diet.

Can I take this with my other OvaFit supplements?

Yes! Crave Control pairs perfectly with Inositol Complete, Berberine, and other OvaFit supplements. The ingredients work synergistically to support healthy hormone balance and weight management.

Is it vegan and allergen-friendly?

Yes! It’s 100% plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free. The only allergen to note: it’s made in a facility that also processes tree nuts, but the product itself contains no nuts (pumpkin seeds and chia seeds are not tree nuts).

Can I use this if I don’t have PCOS?

Absolutely! While formulated for PCOS, anyone looking for a clean protein powder with blood sugar support and craving control can benefit. The ingredients are safe and effective for general wellness.

Is it safe if I’m trying to conceive or pregnant?

The protein and most ingredients are safe, but we recommend consulting your doctor before starting any new supplement when trying to conceive, pregnant, or breastfeeding – especially regarding the chromium dosage.

Do I need to refrigerate it after opening?

No, but store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the lid tightly sealed to maintain freshness.

Metabolism Plus FAQs

Do I need to take all of them?

I’ve spent a long time formulating this combination of supplements that are essential for managing metabolic hormones. They are designed to be taken together.

How long do I take them?

Each supplement comes in a 3 month supply. This intentionally aligns with the studies done on PCOS women that show the effectiveness of these supplements after 3 months.

Can I take them while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Curcumin should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. There is not enough research to support that these supplements can be used during breastfeeding or pregnancy. Check with your healthcare provider to learn more.

Is there anyone who should not take Omega-3?

High doses of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA (over 3,000 mg per day) can prolong bleeding time. Therefore, hemophiliacs and individuals taking blood thinners should exercise caution in the use of high-dose fish oil and should have their coagulation status monitored regularly.

Can I take these supplements with other medications or supplements?

Consult your doctor, pharmacist, or healthcare team when combining supplements or medications, as this may lead to unwanted side effects.

Curcumin

  • Antiplatelet drugs (aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB), heparin, and warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven): These medications prevent blood clots by slowing blood clotting. Taking a Curcumin supplement along with these medications may increase the risk of bleeding.
  • Medications for diabetes: The turmeric in Curcumin may naturally lower blood glucose (sugar) levels. Diabetes medications are also used to lower blood glucose. Taking turmeric/curcumin along with medications for diabetes may cause your blood sugar to go too low. Monitor your blood sugar closely. Separate by 3-4 hours.
  • Since turmeric has anti-platelet and hypoglycemic effects, it is recommended to discontinue Curcumin at least 2 weeks before surgical procedures.

Omega-3

  • Anti-platelet drugs (aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), dipyridamole (Persantine), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), and warfarin (Coumadin)): These medications prevent blood clots by slowing blood clotting. Using TherOmega along with these medications may increase the risk of bleeding. However, most research shows that fish oil does not increase bleeding. Until more is known, be watchful if combined with medications that slow blood clotting.
  • Antihypertensive drugs (captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), losartan (Cozaar), valsartan (Diovan), diltiazem (Cardizem), amlodipine (Norvasc), hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDIURIL), furosemide (Lasix), and many others): Using TherOmega with medications that lower blood pressure may increase the effects of these medications and may lower blood pressure even more. Take separate by at least 2 hours.
  • Orlistat (Xenical, Alli): These medications are used to block some of the fat that you consume from being absorbed by your body. If you take these medications at the same time as fish oils, the medicines might keep the beneficial fatty acids in fish oil from being absorbed by the body. Take TherOmega and these medications at least 2 hours apart to prevent this from happening.

CoQ10

  • High Blood Pressure Medications (captopril, enalapril, losartan, valsartan, diltiazem, amlodipine, quinapril, hydrochlorothiazide, furosemide): CoQ10 may lower blood pressure and can increase the effects of medications used to lower blood pressure. Taking coenzyme Q10 along with medications for high blood pressure might cause your blood pressure to go too low.
  • Chemotherapy drugs (busulfan, carboplatin, cisplatin, cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan), dacarbazine, thiotepa): Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant. There is some concern that antioxidants might lower the effectiveness of some medications used for cancer.
  • Coumadin (warfarin): CoQ10 might increase blood clotting. By helping the blood clot, coenzyme Q10 might decrease the effectiveness of coumadin. The dose of your coumadin might need to be changed. Be sure to have your blood checked regularly.

MetaMulti

MetaMulti may affect the absorption of certain prescription medications as follows:

  • Antibiotics: Certain nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc can bind to antibiotics in the stomach and reduce their absorption and effectiveness. Depending on the antibiotic prescribed, you may need to separate taking any multivitamins from antibiotics by at least 2 to possibly 6 hours or discontinue taking a multivitamin while taking the antibiotic. Please discuss with your pharmacist and healthcare team to determine if you should stop taking your multivitamin for a short period.
    • Penicillamine (Cuprimine, Depen) – Separate by 2 hours
    • Cephalexin (Keflex) – Take MetaMulti 3 hours or more after taking this antibiotic
    • Tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline, demeclocycline) – Separate by 4 hours
    • Ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), Moxifloxacin (Avelox) – Separate by 6 hour
  • Atorvastatin (Lipitor) – This medication helps control cholesterol levels in the body. Taking it with MetaMulti, which contains 50 mcg (2,000 IU) of vitamin D, may decrease the amount of atorvastatin absorbed by the body. Separate by a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Captopril – This medication helps control blood pressure. Iron and magnesium in MetaMulti can affect the absorption of this antihypertensive medication. Separate by 2 hours.
  • Digoxin (Lanoxin) – This medication helps the heart beat more strongly. Taking magnesium which is in MetaMulti, at the same time as this medication may decrease the absorption of this medication, therefore, decreasing the effectiveness. Separate by 2 hours.
  • Dilantin (phenytoin) – This medication is an anti-epileptic drug used to control seizures. Calcium and magnesium in MetaMulti n can affect the absorption of this anti-epileptic medication. Separate by 2 hours.
  • Oral Bisphosphonates (i.e., alendronate (Fosamax), etidronate (Didronel), risedronate (Actonel), ibandronate (Boniva), tiludronate (Skelid)) – These medications alter bone formation and breakdown in the body, slowing down bone loss and helping to prevent bone fractures. Taking magnesium, calcium, or iron along with these medications can decrease how much bisphosphate the body absorbs. Separate by 2 hours.
  • Sotalol (Betapace) – This medication helps the heart beat normally in people with certain heart rhythm disorders. Calcium and magnesium in MetaMulti can affect the absorption of this antiarrhythmic medication. Separate by at least 2 hours.
  • Thiazide diuretics (AKA water pills) – These medications are used to treat high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, and the accumulation of fluid and swelling (edema) in the body. These medications also increase the amount of calcium in the body. Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium. Taking MetaMulti, which contains 50 mcg (2,000 IU) of vitamin D, along with these medications may cause too much calcium in the body.
  • Thyroid hormone (levothyroxine, Synthroid) – This medication is used to treat an underactive thyroid gland. Iron, calcium, and magnesium in MetaMulti can reduce the absorption of these thyroid hormone medications. Separate by at least 4 hours.

Please discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine if you should take multivitamins if you take any of these medications:

  • Coumadin (Warfarin) – Studies show that low-dose vitamin K (100 mcg) is unlikely to affect INR and may actually help to stabilize INR levels. MetaMulti contains 100 mcg of vitamin K and should be safe to take.
  • Medications that are changed by the liver Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP34) substrates – CYP34 are essential enzymes in your body, mainly found in the liver, to break down medications in the body. Vitamin D may increase how quickly the liver breaks down some medications. Taking MetaMulti, which contains 50 mcg (2,000 IU) of vitamin D, along with some medications, may decrease the effectiveness of some medications. Before taking MetaMulti, talk to your healthcare provider to determine if you are taking medications that are changed by the liver, for example, lovastatin, clarithromycin, estrogens, and others.

Is Metabolism Plus Halal or Kosher?

As the supplements contain gelatin, it is not halal or kosher friendly.

Berberine Advanced FAQs

What is Berberine?

Berberine is a natural compound found in plants like barberry and goldenseal, and it’s been used for centuries in traditional medicine. For women with PCOS, it’s been shown to support healthy blood sugar, insulin, and cholesterol levels, while also promoting hormonal balance, improved metabolism, and body composition.*

A clinical study found that women with PCOS who took berberine experienced a 44% improvement in insulin sensitivity—*a key driver behind cravings, fatigue, and stubborn weight.

Think of it like a reset switch for your metabolism—and a powerful tool for managing the root causes of PCOS symptoms.

Should I stop taking Inositol Complete 40:1 and take Berberine Advanced instead?

Not necessarily. Both have unique benefits. Inositol focuses on restoring inositol levels to support hormone and ovarian health, while Berberine Advanced activates AMPK—your body’s metabolic master switch. It helps improve insulin sensitivity, reduce cravings, and support fat metabolism.

Many women feel they work even better together, and some prefer the ease of Berberine Advanced—with just two easy capsules a day—compared to mixing a powder in water. It’s a simple, convenient option that fits easily into your routine.

Always talk with your healthcare provider before switching or combining supplements.

Can I take Berberine Advanced with Inositol Complete?

Yes! Many in our community combine both for comprehensive support. Inositol Complete 40:1 supports insulin signaling and hormone balance through inositol, while Berberine Advanced improves insulin sensitivity through a different mechanism.

Together, they offer a powerful combo for tackling the metabolic root causes of PCOS.
Just be sure to follow the guidance of your healthcare practitioner.

Are there any side effects from Berberine Advanced?

It’s generally well tolerated. A small number of people may experience mild stomach discomfort, but we’ve formulated it with plant extracts to support absorption and make it gentler on your gut.

If you’re sensitive to supplements, start with one capsule and ease into it.

Can I take Berberine Advanced with other supplements?

Yes! Berberine Advanced is designed to work safely alongside other OvaFit supplements, including:

  • Omega-3s
  • Curcumin
  • MetaMulti (Multivitamin)
  • Vitamin D
  • Coenzyme Q10
  • Inositol

Many women with PCOS find these supplements work even better together, supporting different aspects of hormone and metabolic health. Just note that Berberine may enhance the effects of other blood sugar-supporting products, like Inositol and Curcumin. So if you’re combining them, monitor how you feel and talk to your doctor if needed.

Can I take Berberine Advanced if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Berberine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you’re currently pregnant or nursing, please consult with your doctor before use.

How long can I take Berberine Advanced?

Berberine Advanced is made with Berberine Phytosome, a patented form that’s 10x more absorbable than the standard HCL version. That means it works effectively at a lower dose, is gentler on the gut, and won’t disrupt your microbiome like high-dose HCL can.

Each capsule delivers a clinically backed 550 mg, and because of its enhanced absorption, it can be safely taken long-term—up to 1,000 mg daily for 2 years with no need to cycle.

Most in our community take it daily to support healthy insulin levels, metabolism, and long-term hormone balance.

PCOS MultiVitamin FAQs

What makes this multivitamin different from others?

MetaMulti is formulated specifically for women with PCOS. It includes activated B vitamins, methylfolate, and bioavailable iron to support hormone balance, metabolism, and energy. Plus, it’s third-party tested and made without fillers, dyes, or unnecessary extras

Do I still need this if I’m taking Metabolism Plus?

If you’re taking Metabolism Plus, you’re already getting MetaMulti inside that bundle—no need to take it separately. MetaMulti is ideal if you’re building your own routine or just want a quality multivitamin on its own.

When should I take it?

Take one tablet daily with food. Most people prefer taking it with breakfast or lunch to support nutrient absorption throughout the day.

Will this help with symptoms like fatigue, mood, hair loss, or weight loss?

MetaMulti is designed to support common PCOS struggles by filling in nutritional gaps that can affect energy, metabolism, mood, hair health, and cycle regularity. While it’s not a weight loss pill, many women find that when paired with healthy lifestyle changes, the right foundational nutrients can make a big difference in supporting their weight loss goals and overall hormonal balance.

Does MetaMulti interact with any prescription medications?

Below are some common potential interactions. This list isn’t exhaustive, so always check with your pharmacist or healthcare provider to make sure MetaMulti is right for you:

Overactive thyroid medications (e.g., methimazole): MetaMulti contains iodine, which could affect these medications. Consult your doctor for personalized advice.

Antibiotics (calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc may interfere with absorption):

Cephalexin (Keflex): Take at least 3 hours before MetaMulti.

Tetracyclines (e.g., doxycycline): Separate by 4 hours.

Quinolones (e.g., ciprofloxacin): Separate by 6 hours.

Oral bisphosphonates (e.g., Fosamax): Separate by 2 hours due to potential interference with absorption from magnesium, calcium, and iron.

Penicillamine (Cuprimine): Separate by 2 hours due to iron interaction.

Thyroid hormone (e.g., Synthroid): Separate by at least 4 hours to avoid reduced absorption.

How long does it take to notice results?

Some people notice improvements in energy or cycle regularity within a few weeks, but full benefits typically build over 2–3 months. Daily consistency is key!

Omega-3 FAQs

What are Omega-3 fatty acids?

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential polyunsaturated fats, and research shows they’re particularly beneficial for women with PCOS.* There are three main types of omega-3 fatty acids:

  • Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)
  • Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)
  • Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

ALA is plentiful in plant foods like flaxseeds, chia seeds, walnuts, and some vegetable oils. EPA and DHA are found in fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, tuna, and herring. EPA and DHA are the most studied omega-3s and are particularly beneficial for managing PCOS symptoms like inflammation, insulin resistance, and hormonal imbalances.*

Your body can convert ALA to EPA and DHA, but this process is inefficient. So, the only way to support healthy EPA and DHA levels in the body is through your diet or an omega-3 supplement.

For women with PCOS who don’t eat fatty fish 2-3 times per week, an omega-3 supplement like Meta Omega 3 can help fill this nutritional gap and support your hormone balance and metabolic health.*

What makes this omega-3 different from others?

Our Omega 3 is formulated specifically for women with PCOS. It contains high-quality, purified fish oil with optimal ratios of EPA and DHA to support hormone balance, reduce inflammation, and improve insulin sensitivity. Plus, it’s third-party tested for purity and potency, free from mercury and other contaminants, and made without fillers or unnecessary additives.

Do I still need this if I’m taking Metabolism Plus?

If you’re taking Metabolism Plus, you’re already getting Meta Omega 3 inside that bundle—no need to take it separately. Meta Omega 3 is ideal if you’re building your own routine or just want quality Omega 3 on its own.

Can I take this with other OvaFit supplements?

Absolutely! Meta Omega 3 pairs perfectly with Inositol Complete, MetaMulti, and other OvaFit supplements. Just note that if you’re taking the Metabolism Plus bundle, Meta Omega 3 is already included, so you’re all set.

Will this help with symptoms like weight loss, mood, hair loss, or fatigue?

Yes! Omega 3s help reduce the chronic inflammation associated with PCOS, which can improve energy levels, mood stability, and support healthy hair growth. By improving insulin sensitivity, they also support weight management efforts when combined with a PCOS-friendly lifestyle.

When should I take it?

Take Omega 3 with a meal containing fat for optimal absorption. Many women prefer taking it with breakfast or lunch.

How long does it take to notice results?

Most women notice improvements in mood and energy within 4-6 weeks. For more significant changes in inflammation markers, insulin sensitivity, and hormonal balance, consistent use for 3 months is recommended.

Does Omega 3 interact with any prescription medications?

The list below includes some of the more common potential interactions. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list or take the place of advice from your healthcare provider. As with any dietary supplement, discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine whether Meta Omega 3 can be taken with your medications.

Antiplatelet/anticoagulant drugs (aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), dipyridamole (Persantine), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), and warfarin (Coumadin)): These medications slow blood clotting. Taking high-dose EPA and DHA (more than 5 grams per day) along with an antiplatelet or anticoagulant drug may increase the risk of bleeding.

High blood pressure medications: High doses of fish oil may modestly lower blood pressure when used alongside medications for high blood pressure.

Orlistat (Xenical, Alli): These medications reduce fat absorption and may decrease the absorption of omega-3 fatty acids. Separate from Meta Omega 3 by at least 2 hours.

What is Vesisorb?

CoQ10 is a large, fat-soluble molecule. It’s difficult for your body to absorb, even when taken with food.

VESIsorb is a patented colloidal delivery system that has been shown to improve the absorption and bioavailability of CoQ10 by 300-600%, compared to standard CoQ10 supplements.* This means that taking 250 mg of our CoQ, is equivalent to taking 750-1,500 mg of other CoQ10 supplements.*

Should I continue taking Purely PreNatal once I’m pregnant?

The nutrients in Purely Prenatal are safe to take during pregnancy. The preconception tablet is specifically formulated to support your nutritional needs while trying to conceive and during the early stages of pregnancy (through the first trimester).

While the CoQ10 softgels are safe to take during pregnancy, there are no known benefits of continuing CoQ10 after you become pregnant.

Before beginning your second trimester, it’s best to switch to a prenatal vitamin designed specifically for pregnancy.

Does Purely PreNatal interact with other prescription medications?

The list below highlights some of the more common potential interactions. It is not exhaustive and should not replace guidance from your healthcare provider. As with any dietary supplement, consult your pharmacist or healthcare team to ensure that Purely Prenatal is compatible with your medications.

Antibiotics: Calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc (found in Purely Prenatal) may reduce the absorption and effectiveness of certain antibiotics.

Depending on the specific antibiotic prescribed, you may need to take Purely Prenatal at a different time, as outlined below.

  • Cephalexin (Keflex): Take at least 3 hours before Purely PreNatal
  • Tetracycline antibiotics(doxycycline, minocycline, demeclocycline): Separate by 4 hours
  • Quinolone antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), moxifloxacin (Avelox)): Separate by 6 hours

Levodopa, Carbidopa: Taking iron (in Purely PreNatal) might decrease the absorption of these medications. Take at separate times of the day.

Oral Bisphosphonates (i.e., alendronate (Fosamax), etidronate (Didronel), risedronate (Actonel), ibandronate (Boniva), tiludronate (Skelid)):

Magnesium, calcium, and iron (in Purely PreNatal) can decrease the absorption of these medications. Separate by 2 hours.

Penicillamine (Cuprimine, Depen): Taking iron (in Purely PreNatal) might decrease the absorption of this medication. Separate by 2 hours.

Thyroid hormone (levothyroxine, Synthroid): Minerals in Purely PreNatal can reduce absorption of these medications. Separate the speckled tablet and thyroid hormone by at least 4 hours.

Medications for overactive thyroid (methimazole, propylthiouracil): Taking iodine (in Purely PreNatal) along with these medications might change their effects. Consult with your healthcare provider if you’re taking medication for an overactive thyroid along with Purely PreNatal.
